Daniel was such a large part of my success during my business school application process. From guidance on approach, providing reassurance, prepping for interview calls and helping me better understand my personal strengths - there was no stone left unturned in my process. Daniel went out of his way to make sure he was available to review and answer questions even on short notice. His encouragement led me to enter my interview confidently equipped with the tools needed to lead a successful conversation. My application process was all the easier because to his help. I am eager to begin my Kellogg journey thanks to Daniel and all he’s done & continues to do!
I first met Daniel almost a year ago when I was attending a Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) informational session. I automatically gravitated to him not only because he had such great energy, but also because he was someone that I could identify with. As a young African American female, I quickly observed that there aren't many people that look like me in top ten MBA programs.
Towards the end of my application process, I spoke with Daniel before my final interview and he provided so much reassurance and quite frankly, spoke life back into me. The application process can be difficult and extremely daunting, but he gave me the encouragement I needed to push through.
Daniel never made me feel like I was a bother or a burden. He made me feel comfortable and welcomed me (as he does with all prospective students) with open arms.
